Trans-disciplinary innovation in heart failure drugs and device solutions to improve patient care

What is iHF? 

Welcome to the Improving Heart Function (iHF) initiative, an innovative educational project dedicated to promoting comprehensive care for heart failure patients accross all specialties. 

Our mission is to assemble a trans-disciplinary team to identify and address unmet needs in heart failure management. By enhancing the collaboration between pharmaceuticals and medical devices, we aim to optimise patient outcomes. 

Our focus areas include:

  • Healthcare management: Integrating lifelong management of drugs and devices to ensure the effective implementation of guideline-directed medical therapy. 
  • Patient management: Enhancing patient selection and risk stratification through advanced imaging and biomarkers, while addressing the challenges faced by patients with implanted devices. 

This initiative is open to all healthcare professionals committed to the optimal management of heart failure patients. Whether you are a cardiologist, general practitioner, nephrologist, endocrinologist, intensivist, geriatrician, or primary care specialist, your expertise is highly valuable.
